I am pleased to report that the old railway line between Slapewath and Boosbeck which forms part of the new NCN168 has now been finished.
Redcar & Cleveland Council have now removed the Pinch Point from the NCN1 on the Saltburn to Markse track. This will help disabled people & cyclists with panniers/trailers to gain better access.

They rode up the East Coast of England and Scotland using the NCN1, Dover to John O' Groats and further using the ferry across the water to the Shetland Isles. It took nine weeks throughout which they camped, or stayed in B&B's, plus one night at journeys end in a Three Star Hotel.
